Sui

Sui Token Dashboard

Manage a published Sui coin from one place: mint and burn using the TreasuryCap, transfer minting rights to a multisig, destroy the cap to fix the supply permanently, update coin metadata, and distribute in batches. Works on devnet, testnet, and mainnet.

How Sui coin permissions differ from other chains

Solana records authorities as fields on the mint account, and an ERC-20 records an owner address inside the contract. Sui does neither: permissions are capability objects held in a wallet, so managing a coin means managing objects.

  • The TreasuryCap grants the right to mint and burn. Transfer it and the right moves; delete it and the right ceases to exist.
  • Because a deleted object is verifiably gone, a fixed supply on Sui is unusually easy for anyone to confirm.
  • Coin metadata lives in its own CoinMetadata object, editable while it is mutable.
  • Regulated coin deployments add a DenyCap for deny-list and pause controls, which ordinary community coins do not have.
  • Balances are coin objects rather than a single ledger number, which is why distribution tools split and merge coins for you.

In practice that means the decision sequence is the same as elsewhere — mint everything you intend to exist, then either transfer the cap to a multisig or destroy it — but the guarantee is easier to prove.

Sui dashboard FAQ

01What is a TreasuryCap?

The capability object created when a Sui coin is published. Whoever owns it can mint and burn that coin — Sui expresses permissions as objects you hold rather than as an address recorded inside a contract.

02Why can I not mint my coin?

Your connected wallet does not own the TreasuryCap. It was either transferred to another address or destroyed, which permanently fixes the supply.

03How do I make my Sui coin's supply permanently fixed?

Burn the TreasuryCap with the revoke authority tool. Once the object is deleted, no address can ever mint that coin again, and anyone can verify the object no longer exists.
