Freeze / Unfreeze

Freeze or thaw token accounts (requires freeze authority).

Connect your Solana wallet to use this tool.

What the freeze / unfreeze tool does

Freezing a token account blocks that specific holder from transferring your token until you thaw it. It requires live freeze authority, which most public tokens revoke — so this tool is aimed at compliance-driven and permissioned deployments rather than open community tokens.

  • Freezes or thaws one token account at a time, targeting a single holder rather than the whole token.
  • A frozen account can still receive tokens but cannot send them.
  • Requires freeze authority to be live and held by your wallet — if you revoked it for Raydium, this tool cannot work.
  • Freezes are on-chain and publicly visible, and holders generally read them as centralised control.
  • Thawing restores transfers immediately with no lasting effect on the account.

How to use the Solana freeze / unfreeze tool

  1. Select your token

Choose a mint where your wallet holds freeze authority.

  2. Enter the holder's address

Provide the wallet or token account address to act on, and verify it carefully.

  3. Freeze or thaw

Choose the action and approve the transaction. It takes effect immediately.

Freeze / Unfreeze FAQ

01Why does freezing fail for my token?

Because freeze authority is revoked. Once it is null nobody can freeze accounts for that mint — which is exactly why Raydium requires the revocation before pool creation.

02Should my token keep freeze authority?

Usually not. Live freeze authority blocks Raydium pool creation and shows up as a risk flag in wallets. Keep it only for permissioned or compliance-driven tokens that are not meant for open DEX trading.

03Can I freeze every holder at once?

Not with this tool — it acts per account. A token-wide pause is an ERC-20 and Sui concept; on Solana the equivalent is freezing individual accounts.
